Jonathan Ross Quits the BBC

Jonathan Ross announced today that he is leaving the BBC after being their loyal servant for 13 years. He’s 49 and the BBC’s highest earning star and said in a statement today that he has decided not to sign a contract when his current one ends in July.

He recently took a pay cut but insists that his decision to leave is not due to the wage decrease.

His current contract had him secured until July 2010 and was worth £18 million.

Of course with this news their is speculation that he’ll join Channel 4 with Graham Norton taking over his BBC1 timeslots. Great!

What are your opinions of this, miss him? Love him? Hate him?
