Jackbook STILL deindexed from Google

Recently I wrote a post about Jackbook.com and how it was one of the most visited sites. I also wrote about how it had suddenly been deindexed by Google and gave a few reasons why.

Well today I did another search for “Jackbook” on Google and again I find that they are still deindexed. Now, Jackbook was sold for $70k in 2009 and I would be interested to see how much it would be worth now. When I last wrote the article their traffic rank was 42, 293rd and now it is 83, 856th. The site is in freefall. Their latest post now ranks higher on an autoblog than their own site. Below is a graph of their traffic over the last 6 months.

This just shows how reliant sites are on Google. If Google decides they no longer like your site then you can wave goodbye to free traffic. Of course there are the other search engines, but Google commanding a 65% of the market means that you’ll have lost a large chunk of your monthly traffic.

I’ll check on Jackbook in the future and see how they’re doing! Hopefully Google will drop the penalty.
